Privea Healthcare Portal™ Terms & Conditions

VERSION 1.0 · EFFECTIVE FROM THE PORTAL’S LAUNCH

These Terms apply to Privea Healthcare Portal™, which is launching soon. They are separate from the Privacy & Site Terms that cover this corporate website. It should be read with the Portal’s Privacy Policy.

1. About These Terms

Privea Healthcare Portal™ (the “Portal”) is operated by Priveamed Global Pvt Ltd (“we”, “us”), a company incorporated in India, with its registered office at K1/702, Central Park 1, Golf Course Road, Sector 42, Gurgaon, Haryana 122009. By creating an account or using the Portal, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Portal.

2. What the Portal Is, and What It Is Not

The Portal helps international patients discover hospitals and doctors in Delhi NCR, ask the providers they choose for a private quote, compare the replies, and plan their journey.

  • We are not a hospital, clinic or doctor. We do not provide medical care, diagnosis or medical advice.
  • Treatment is provided by the hospitals and doctors you choose, and your agreement for treatment is with them, not with us.
  • The Portal is not for emergencies. If you need urgent care, contact local emergency services or the nearest hospital.

3. Who Can Use the Portal

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. A parent or legal guardian may use the Portal on behalf of a child or of a patient who cannot act for themselves. Patients, hospitals, doctors and other providers, and referral or travel partners may each use the Portal, subject to these Terms and to any further agreement we make with them.

4. Your Account

  • Give us accurate and current information, and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your login details private. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • Tell us promptly at support@priveahealthcareportal.com if you think someone else has used your account.

5. For Patients

  • No fee to patients. We do not charge patients a fee to use the Portal.
  • Private quotes. You may send a quote request to any listed provider you choose and, if you ask us to, to a provider that is not listed. A quote is an offer from the provider. It is not medical advice, and it may change after the provider has reviewed your medical records or examined you.
  • Your decision. You are never obliged to accept a quote. Please read each provider’s terms, and confirm costs, inclusions, cancellation and refund terms with the provider in writing before you commit.
  • Your information. Please give complete and honest health information so that providers can quote properly.

6. For Hospitals and Other Providers

  • Free listing. Listing on the Portal is free at launch. If we introduce any fees in future, we will tell you in writing at least 30 days beforehand. Any other terms of your listing are set out in the separate listing agreement or written offer we give you. We will never charge patients through the Portal.
  • Accurate information. You must give us accurate and current information, including your registrations, licences and accreditations, and tell us when they change or lapse.
  • Honest quotes. Your quotes must be truthful, state what is and is not included as far as you can, and be given by people with authority to give them. You are responsible for the care you provide and for complying with the laws and professional rules that apply to you.
  • Patient confidentiality. Patient information you receive through the Portal is confidential. You must use it only to respond to the patient’s request and to provide care. You must not sell it, share it with anyone who does not need it for that purpose, or use it for marketing unless the patient has separately agreed. You must keep it secure and delete it when you no longer need it, unless the law requires you to keep it.

7. Checking Providers

We check the credentials and accreditations that providers submit before listing them. This is a check of documents and information, as at the time we carry it out. It is not a guarantee of the quality, safety or outcome of any treatment, and it does not replace your own enquiries and your doctor’s advice.

8. Payments

At launch, the Portal does not take payment for treatment. Any payment is arranged directly between the patient and the provider, and we are not a party to it. If this changes, we will update these Terms and tell users beforehand.

9. Personal and Health Information

Health information is sensitive, and we handle it with care. Details you put in a quote request are shared with the providers you send that request to. How we collect, use, store and protect personal data is explained in the Portal’s Privacy Policy, and we follow the laws that apply to us in India, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Confidentiality. We treat the information patients and providers give us as confidential. We do not sell personal or health information. We share it only as these Terms and the Privacy Policy describe, and the people and companies who work with us must keep it confidential and protect it. You must also keep confidential any non-public information about the Portal or other users that you receive through it.

10. Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • give false or misleading information, or pretend to be someone else;
  • use the Portal for anything unlawful, or to harass, mislead or harm others;
  • copy, scrape or collect data from the Portal in bulk, or try to bypass its security;
  • use the Portal to promote services that are not healthcare or related travel services, or to solicit patients outside of the Portal’s purpose.

11. Content You Submit

You keep ownership of the content you submit. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it only to run and improve the Portal and to pass it to the people you choose to send it to. You confirm that you have the right to submit it.

12. Our Rights

The Portal, its software, name, logo and design belong to Priveamed Global Pvt Ltd or its licensors. These Terms do not give you any right to use them except to use the Portal as intended.

13. Disclaimers

The Portal and its content are provided on an “as available” basis. We work to keep information accurate and the Portal running, but we cannot promise that it will always be available, error-free or complete. Provider information, quotes and availability come from providers, and we are not responsible for them. Nothing on the Portal is medical advice.

14. Limits on Our Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for the quality or outcome of treatment given by any provider, for decisions you or others make based on information on the Portal, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

15. Providers’ Responsibility to Us

A provider or partner using the Portal agrees to compensate us for losses that arise from its breach of these Terms, its inaccurate information, or claims brought against us because of the care or services it provides.

16. Suspension and Ending

You may stop using the Portal and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end an account, or remove a listing, if these Terms are broken, if information is found to be false or out of date, or if we need to do so to protect patients or comply with the law.

17. Changes

We may update these Terms. If a change matters, we will tell registered users in advance. If you keep using the Portal after the change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. We will always try to settle a dispute informally first. If that does not work, the courts at Gurugram, Haryana will have jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have under consumer protection law.

19. Complaints and Grievance Officer

If you have a complaint about the Portal, write to our Grievance Officer, Pallavi Sharma (Head of Business Development), at support@priveahealthcareportal.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within one month.
